The TV series 'La Catedral del Mar' and the director of 'La Vanguardia', Liber awards

The Spanish Association of Publishers Guilds (FGEE) has given the award for the promotion of reading, to Màrius Carol.

The Spanish Association of Publishers Guilds (FGEE) has awarded the Liber prize for the best audiovisual adaptation of a literary work, to the series La Catedral del Mar, directed by Jordi Frades and produced by Diagonal TV and Atresmedia. The director of La Vanguardia, Màrius Carol, has been chosen as winner of the award for the promotion of reading. With the first of the prizes, the editors recognize "the brilliant transfer to the audiovisual language of a literary work", written by Ildefonso Falcones, made with great fidelity by Frades from the version adapted by Rodolf Sirera. The second one recognizes "the permanent attention to the world of the book that La Vanguardia dedicates in all its sections".
