from the standpoint of the journalist, Rufo Batalla. On September 4, "El Rey Recibe" (Seix Barral) will be the first novel by Eduardo Mendoza since receiving the Cervantes Award in 2016. The book kicks off the trilogy "Las Tres Leyes del Movimiento", which  examines the main political and cultural events of the 20th century from the personal experience of the protagonist, Rufo Batalla.
