YouTube confirms it: reading is fun

and while very few make a living out of them, their channels boast hundreds of thousands of followers. Just so nobody gets the wrong idea, the protagonists of this story want to make it clear that they are not literary critics, nor are they trying to be; they are recommenders of books. This phenomenon started in Mexico and now has legions of fans who populate various online communities. They are known as Booktubers, and their production varies from traditional video reviews to book tags (games or questionnaires for bibliophiles), as well as challenges and wrap-ups (books of the month).
