Conaculta presents the Carlos Fuentes International Award for Literary Creation in the Spanish Language

The deadline to submit candidates is September 14, 2012. The winner will be announced November 11th.

The Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (Conaculta) of Mexico announced the creation of the annual Carlos Fuentes International Award for Literary Creation in the Spanish Language. The award recognizes Spanish-language authors that contribute to enrich the literary heritage.

The deadline to submit candidates is September 14, 2012. The winner will be announced November 11 and will receive $250,000 and a sculpture by Vicente Rojo. For more information, click here.
