A 79-year-old farmer from the Granada town of Huétor Tájar has published her second book of poems without knowing how to write or even read, a publication she has managed to finance with her own savings.

«La campesina y el marqués», published by Editorial Dauro, is about the love story between a woman and a wealthy man, and in it she compiles a collection of poems that the author has dictated to a village teacher to capture them for posterity . In the pages of the book, Jacinta Ortiz Mesa, known as "La Tilli", tells how her mother brought her to the world without the help of anyone in 1939 and how her whole life has been dedicated to the countryside, and to raising her children alone. Five sons.

She also tells how she fell in love with a Mr. Marquis, whom she met by chance and from whom she suffered a great love disappointment.
