The country's public libraries offer plenty of activities these months of vacation and heat.

The public libraries have plenty of activities for patrons of all ages, and best of all, they are indoors. “Some of the most gratifying and enriching activities might happen within the four walls of one of our country's 123,000 public libraries,” says PR Newswire.

The only requirement to enjoy all that the libraries have to offer, is a library card, which is free. Read books or magazines, watch videos or listen to audios, in English or another language, and attend cultural events like expositions and concerts.
