Proteo-Prometeo, Cultural Bookstore Award 2017.

Founded in Malaga in 1969, the jury has highlighted its career, its presence in the cultural life of the city, and the tireless and original work for the book. The Proteo-Prometheus Bookstore of Malaga, has been recognized with the Cultural Bookstore Award in its nineteenth edition.

The award, given by Cegal (Spanish Confederation of Booksellers' Associations and Associations) in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, aims to recognize the bookstore as a space for cultural encounters and a focus for the promotion and the spreading of books and reading. It will be delivered in the first months of 2018 and has an economic endowment of 9,000 euros. The jury of this edition has been formed by important personalities from the world of books such as the writer Sergio del Molino, the journalists Inés Martín Rodrigo and Guillermo Busutil, and the editor Silvia Sesé, as well as José Manuel Anta, representative of FANDE, the distributor association, and members of Cegal's board of directors.
