The Ibero-American Space for the Book, 2016 edition

The Ibero-American Space for the Book has been published annually by CERLALC since 2006, and it contains a vast amount of statistical data that allows us to visualize a median image of the publishing sector in this region.

The document is a must-have for any publisher, as it contains the historical trends and results for the evolution of each national market. We are pleased to share with you the latest edition of this report, which contains, as usual, a general view of the publishing output in Ibero America sourced from the registration of book titles in the national ISBN agencies in 2015. The information is broken down by country, format, subject, and type of publishing house. This chapter is followed by another where the consolidated figures of the printed book commerce in Ibero America is described and analyzed.
