Spanish artist Gabriel H. Walta wins an “Oscar of comics” for ‘The Vision.

Once more the Marvel universe exudes Spanish ink. Gabriel H. Walta, one of the latest Spanish comics artists to cross over to the American publishing world, has already won his first Will Eisner Comic Industry Award

(Eisner Awards for short, and popularly known as the “Oscars of comics”) for his work in The Vision, a collection written by Tom King that has snatched this year’s award to the best limited series. The Eisner Awards, the most important accolades in the comic industry, were presented Friday in San Diego during Comic-Con, a macro event of popular culture that will be hosted through Sunday by the Californian city.
