But this is about to change with this year’s ‘Setmana del Llibre en Català’ (Book Week in Catalan). Started 35 years ago as a fair to give greater visibility to books in Catalan, it later expanded its literary festival side and this September, for the very first time, it will offer a third space, the professional room, with the attendance of 16 editors and literary agents from 14 countries (such as Russia, Israel, the United States and Croatia), who will have business meetings with their Catalan counterparts.”
